POINT OF VIEW
Point of view in this short story is third person, because it is identify from the author who use subject pronoun “He and She” and sometimes the name of character.

THEME
I think the main theme of this short story is about “friendship”. The story tells the readers about friendship between Sue and Johnsy. They are two best friends who always support each other. When Johnsy get pneumonia, Sue always supports her to get well.

The other theme is about “sacrifice”. That is Mr. Behrman who painted the last leaf at night when the last leaf fells down and raining day. After that, he got pneumonia and died.
